This 3.5 months long IELTS course is designed to give students a complete and practical understanding of all four modules: listening, reading, writing and speaking. With 36 focused classes held three times a week, students will cover every type of questions and task they may encounter on the exam.
The course emphasizes hands-on experience on practice to ensure that students not only understand the strategies but also gain confidence through practice and implementation. The students will be provided a variety of practice material and opportunity to take 10 full mock tests at the end of the course.
Course Structure
• Introduction: 1 class – Overview of the IELTS exam and test taking strategies
• Listening: 7 classes – All question types, including Multiple Choice, Matching, Map/Plan/Diagram labeling, Form/Note/Table/Flow-chart/ Summary/Short Answer Questions
• Reading: 9 classes – All question types, including Multiple Choice, True/False/Not Given, Matching Headings, Matching Information/Features, Sentence Completion, Note/Table/Flow-chart/Diagram and Short Answer Questions
• Writing: 9 classes – Task 1 (Graphs, Charts, Tables, Map) and Task 2 (Opinion, Discussion, Advantages/Disadvantages, Problem/Solution, Cause/Effect, Essays)
• Speaking: 10 classes – Held throughout the 3 months, covering Part 1 (Short-answer interview questions), Part 2 (Cue Card/Long Turn) and Part 3 (Opinion, Comparison, Cause/Effect, Prediction, Evaluation, Abstract/Discussion Questions), ensuring students can confidently speak on any topic.
By the end of the course, students will have practiced extensively, mastered all question types, and developed the confidence, fluency and strategies needed to achieve their target IELTS band score.
